How to Earn Money on Facebook
Earn Money on Facebook? It’s nothing new! There are thousands of selling groups on there but you don’t need me to tell you that.
My question is; Can it be improved? I’m asking if Facebook can improve the system as I think its rather good and will evolve with updates regardless.
I’m directing that question to the people on facebook who sell items through the Selling Groups!
I started an Ebay business that at it’s peak turned over £59k a year. I started by going to second hand stores and charity shops looking for designer clothing.
Today Ebay is still important tools for me and I still enjoy listing items for sale but I also use it differently now.
I have noticed through quality tutoring and research how to adapt my selling on Ebay and sell a wide variety of items I do not hold on these Facebook selling groups and not just in my own country but globally!
Today I am going to show you my method!
If you notice most items for sale are second hand items and items sold through these Multi level marketing companies.
Thats fine, good luck to everyone! Now the people who are regularly selling second had stuff; this could interest you.
It’s all well and good selling then wrapping then posting the item or waiting around for collections.
Do you really enjoy strangers you’ve spoken to on the Internet then knocking at your door 2 hours later?
Do you enjoy queuing up in the post office ?
Again not a problem with it but what about if you add all that time up queuing and waiting as you sell more stuff and then all that time sourcing your sellable items? i think you will be surprised ho much time is taken out that you can’t get back!
Now I am one those sellers or should I say was!
Once you have taken your costs out and lets look at it closely:
transport costs going to wholesalers
Cost of Product
statoinary and packaging
electricity listing or charging your phone to list.
time spent waiting for collections
shipping costs
transport cost to post office
time spent queuing
So taking all this into account what would your profit margin actually be?
If your selling this item on Ebay you then have listing fees and paypal fees it you offer this service.

Now the mojarity of stuff I sell on Facebook I do not actually own as I do this through Affiliate Marketing which is quite legal to do so. I promote other peoples products and help push traffic towards there listings.

For the purpose of this article I will stick with my topic in hand.
So to start of with I joined 5 selling groups a day form regional to national, Stick to your owncountry as you learn your skills.
When it’s time to post an item then do not post more than 30 times or less a day and spread the posts out throughout the day.
I will have 2 listings a day to post through Facebook and I stick to posting 10 in the morning around 9:30am, Lunchtime then again in the evening after 9:30pm
The main reason I do this is to avoid being seen as spamming as lets face it we all hate spam messages don’t we!
By spreading my posts out and lisiting two different links I have not saturated the groups with the same product.
only publish one post every 24 hrs per group as well as that can also land you a 3 day posting ban on Facebook!
Its more or less a straight forward procedure to to add an item on Facebook from Ebay by using the bookmarklet tool that I covered in another post:

Once you find a product you want to sell ypu basically just click on the listing and then select the EPN default campaign tap you would of saved in your bookmarks bar from the first tutorial after signing up to the Ebay Affiliation program
The Link it produces is very long so I normally use a shortener such as Bitly or Google shortener.
For Ebay I prefer to use Bitly as it gives you an ebay link:

I just used this title for this advert but I could actually make it more appealing looking a it.

I kept the description basic.
The main challenge I have is the amount of messages I get from members who do not seem to read the description.
For this listing I made sure it was quite clear that this product was sold via a big UK chain store called Curries and was on there EBay site followed by the link with instructions.
this has worked as I have had no messages for this listing and 4 visits to Curries Ebay store since I posted it last night.
I will evolve this strategy now people are following the instructions. If they do no t buy then that’s fine as once on Ebay if they start to browse then anything they buy I will get commission.
When you list a sales page on a selling group you then have the option to post in more selling groups, on a desktop PC you can post to 20 different groups using a drop down bar to select your groups.

Final Advice
Some advice I will share with you is that I deem it important to remember that when you list products that they are not yours but it is your reputation.
When I am sourcing products I have rules to help me decide who to promote on Facebook
Rules:
EBay
- Only list from Business registered power sellers with over 99% positive feedback.
- look at the daily deals offered by retail chains
- check the returns policy is favourable to the customer
- choose products with free shipping
